Ivani Venturieri, born in Goiânia, Brazil, graduated from the School of Music and Performing Arts at the Federal University of Goiás in the class of Glacy Antunes de Oliveira. She obtained a master's degree and a diploma as a soloist at the renowned Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, in the class of Professor Hans Leygraf.
In Brazil she won several national competitions such as the Piracicaba Young Performers Competition, the South American Music Competition and the Funarte Young Performers Competition. She has performed as a soloist with the National Theatre Orchestra in Brasilia, the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra, the Blumenau Orchestra and the Piracicaba Orchestra.
A finalist in the International Piano Competition in Monza, Italy, and having settled in Geneva, Switzerland, she continued her activities largely in Europe. She was a member of the teaching staff at the Geneva University of Music as a pianist.
With Trio Éleonore she has recorded 2 CDs and toured extensively in South Korea, Brazil, France and Switzerland. She is regularly invited as an official pianist at international competitions such as the Geneva International Competition and the Bottesini International Competition in Crema, Italy.
She currently performs as a soloist with various orchestras, with the Wind Quintet of the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, with the Swiss Winds Piano Trio and in various chamber music groups. She is a regular guest pianist at the renowned Stauffer Academy in Cremona, Italy.
